Walks To Illuminate..

..public walks

The public phase of the Nightwalks began on the last weekend of October, the end of British Summertime.

Prior to this phase and during the summer months members of the public had already begun to build the solar energy bank by wearing the sun hats (installed with solar panels)on their walks in the park.

Come the end of October we had accumulated 65.6V, enough (just) to power the shoes for all the Autumn nightwalks.

This section presents some of the documentation from the public phase of the project which spans the seasons from Autumn 2005, through to Summer solstice 2006.

The documents and artefacts from the project will then have a presence at YSP later in the year.

Thankyou to all those who have taken part, harvested energy and walked the park day and night.
