solar walks

To take a solar walk please call 01924 832631 to book in advance or check out a hat from the information desk in the YSP Centre, if available. Gather energy from the sun during your walk. When you return please document your contribution and receive your personal postcard. Numbers are limited and walks cannot take place in wet weather.

night walks

Night walks will take place over three nights seasonally, related to solstice and equinox dates. There will be three walks per night, the first beginning at twilight.27-29 October from 6pm 15-17 December from 4pm 16-18 March '06 from 6.45pm 22-24 June '06 from 10.15pm.

Each walk is for two people and will last about one hour. Places are limited, please reserve early by calling 01924 832631. Participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Night walks are not weather dependent.

walks to illuminate is created through visitor participation. Each contribution of energy is documented in a permanent register and recognised in a limited edition postcard presented to each participant.
